Life should be diversified and Old Rock customers are no strangers to diversity...
Month of June is always marked with larger orders for those leaving on vacation. Don't leave home without it! (your favourite coffee of course)
Old Rock customers are probably defined as Honduran lovers, for any roast. Our Honduran Marcalas coffee was the most sold in either roast.
March was marked with the local hockey AAA Sudbury Midget team. Thanks guys and parents for your support!
The dark roasts came out winners in February 2010. Many coffee Vienna drinkers evolve to darker roasts, but it does not mean that you need to! Gradire!
The Fair Trade & Organics (FT&O) were the heroes this month.
It was the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a coffee was stirring, not even a mouse; The stockings were hung by the chimney with Old Rock Christmas Coffee... Do I need to say anymore?
This month is best remembered with a special blend that finished 7th overall: Pink Passion blend. The Pink Passion blend was created for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation; all sales contributed to a $2 donation per bag sold. Thank you - we, you and Old Rock, contributed just shy of $400!
Somewhat of an anomoly, this month's top seller was a new decaf blend that Le théâtre du Nouvel-Ontario (TNO) launched. Hip hip hourra!
September and maybe the overall trend now for Old Rock customer have been darker roasted coffees. Although the Vienna roast outsells any other type of roast, the darker roasts (French and Italian) combines represent 53% of sold coffees.
The French roasted coffees again take top honours as most sold, but only by a slight margin compared to Vienna roast. Choice is a beautiful thing.
This month will be most remembered for all the special occasions like weddings. Yes - you can arrange your special package of coffee (2 oz typically) as the preferred gift for guests. This wedding season, the favourite was Ethiopian Yirgacheffe French Roast. Yum!
This month, the Honduran Marcalas is not taking any prisoners - number one (Vienna) and number 5 (French).
One of Old Rock's many blends made it to the top of the list this month: none other than Black Bear's Butt. Like other blends, there's nothing like a Northern Ontario made legend!
Carole's father past away peacefully the evening of May 12, 2009.
Our Honduran Marcalas FT&O Vienna Roast keeps being a top seller. Some ask why - it is by far the leading coffee for those who venture drinking their coffee black.
In March, we are back in the groove with your expected leaders. The Guatemalan has seen an increase despite their increase in price. I guess there's nothing like great taste!
The highlight of February coffees has been with no surpise My Old Flame coffee for Valentine's Day.
For the month of January, it`s back to routine and we have seen the steady top sellers come back to the top, with the newbie Rwanda FT.
Most sold coffees in December 2008. As expected, Christmas Blends were big sellers but surprisingly, Great Outdoors took the main prize. Great Outdoors is a unique coffee that blends different coffees from different continents to make a unique campfire memoriable blend. Mmm mmm.
